Orthotic Specialists, Inc. have become recognized as the leading pediatric orthotic practice in the state of Arizona and have secured exclusive orthotic contracts with the two Shrine Hospitals that travel to Arizona for outreach clinics; Shrine Intermountain from Salt Lake City Utah, and Los Angeles Shrine Hospital, from Los Angeles. Over the years of attending outreach clinics, we have established an excellent reputation for our role in the multi disciplinary team. Our philosophy and priority is patient centered care. We have created very strong bonds with hundreds of community pediatric therapists, with varying areas of specialization. Our approach of good bonds, open communication and willingness to brainstorm with other team members, has resulted in excellent patient care and the best functional outcomes. Our team approach to gait analysis involving a physiatrist, therapist, the patient and orthotist/prosthetist has proven to be particularly effective. We hold gait analysis clinics on a regular basis.

Orthotic Specialists, Inc., has an extremely experienced staff waiting to provide excellent customer service. We will provide a certified practitioner at all times, while a certified technician supervises the fabrication process. In addition, we have several office administrators who are waiting to be of assistance to you. Education is key in the patient centered team approach. Not only do we attend several conferences each year; but we have lectured at many Universities and Colleges, as invited guest speakers around Phoenix, as well as hosted many national speakers here in Arizona. We have been instrumental in initiating focus group discussions and an e-mail communication group. In addition to our extensive experience practicing in Canada and the US, we have also spoken internationally in Europe.

We are members of CBC (Canadian Board for Certification), ABC (American Certification Board), AOPA (American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association) and ACPOC (Association of Children’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinics). We pride ourselves on our professionalism, creativity, resourcefulness and dedication to our pediatric patient population. We naturally embrace the role of advocacy for our families and welcome the chance to be a part of your solution.

We would love to meet you and your family. Please contact us by any of the thingys below.
